| While other little girls were playing make-believe, Alin Anuar was making dresses for her Barbie dolls. And while other teenage girls were at malls searching for the perfect prom dress, she was at home, designing her own.
She is passionate and very much in love with kebaya and decided in year 2000 to start her own fashion line “Chantiq Skaly-House of Kebaya” and create traditional elegance with an avant-garde flair for all ages,for all occasions. Alin retained the traditional nyonya kebayas as her classic collections and creates evening wear in stylish,flattering kebaya cuts with embellishments like her launch at the International Singapore Fashion Week,she calls the “Sweet,Sexy,Chantiq Skaly” line. She also creates the casual collections of kebaya as part of her emphasis to provide versatility of the kebayas.
Alin began her career in fashion as an online store retailer and showcased her classic kebaya collections in Singapore.
Chantiq Skaly is all about having bespoke and personalised couture kebayas and creates a one of a kind kebaya you will always remember.
When presenting her newest creations,she eschews the bright lights and dancehall music of the runways shows now common to fashion designers’ for a more intimate gathering as she describes each designs herself.
Now, there are approximately 6 representatives located worldwide to create business opportunities for Chantiq Skaly to continue it's quest to promote KEBAYA internationally.
